  Hello! I am Nailë (or Naile/Naileh)! I do a lot of autopilot things and I like languages a lot. And science. Especially physics. And math. Theoretical calculus is cool. I cannot do algebra or arithmetic though.

• • Space Facts
    • you could hypothetically navigate through an asteroid field and never come close to an asteroid because of the sheer size and space between asteroids in the cluster
    • moon dust is really dangerous because, unlike sand (which gets ground down with friction, etc.), the tiny granules have Really Sharp Edges
    • black holes can actually be really bright because the matter closest to them that hasn't been sucked in yet can give off a lot of heat and light
    • if you were to turn the Earth into a black hole, you'd have to compress it to the size of a marble
  • Physics Facts
    • the Large Hadron Collider is technically colder than outer space
    • physicists can't name shit. quarks are categorized by "flavors" (up, down, charm, strange, top, bottom) and "color charge" (which has nothing to do with color)
    • humans can survive being hit with proton beams (technically)
    • string theory works with 11 dimensions, not just our usual 3
